The Prince of Wales will represent the COP30 climate summit in Brazil next month, according to the royal household.
Prince William and King Charles appeared together on Thursday night at a reception ahead of the environmental conference, which is set to be held in the northern Brazilian city of Belem.
The royal pair were participating in the Natural History Museum reception, marking an rare public appearance together at a climate summit preparatory event arranged together with the United Kingdom administration.

The King has been a long-time champion of protecting nature - and Prince William has assumed the responsibility, with his own climate innovation awards, which will be hosted in Rio before the UN meeting.
