Cut A Path Through the Action-Packed Series Before It Leaves Game Pass

Although some major titles are joining the subscription library in September, a handful of other titles will be to leave before the close of September.

Ninja Gaiden Leaving the Service

A trio of notable installments—Ninja Gaiden Sigma, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, and Ninja Gaiden 3 Razor’s Edge—will be to disappear from the platform when the month concludes. All three titles are modern versions of the rebooted core franchise and originally included in the 2021’s Master Collection.

History of High-Octane Gameplay

Initially debuted in arcades and on consoles such as the Nintendo Entertainment System, the original Ninja Gaiden games offered side-scrolling action. The reimagined franchise transitioned into 3D design and greatly ramped up the challenge level. It also incorporated more graphic violence, which has become a defining trait of the series.

Gear Up for Ninja Gaiden 4

If you interested in the storyline, the upcoming Ninja Gaiden 4 is described as a straight follow-up to the third game. That makes the present a perfect time to immerse yourself in the backstory ahead of its release. The game is released by Xbox Game Studios and is set to be playable on the service at launch.

This year, fans have already experienced two additional entries: an enhanced version of Ninja Gaiden 2, as well as a throwback side game that proved a summer hit.
